went cycling early in the morn today. average speed of 27km/h top speed of 35km/h. haha. but i got chased by 5dogs in total during the bike...zzz...so got slowed down alot. oh wait. actually when i started to get chased by the dogs i started going even faster. haha. stuupid Shepherd dog. haha. 

did some family history work today. didnt know my great-grandpa was so cool. his real name is "yang wu long" but he was given the reputation name of "hei long" aka black dragon. during the time he was alive, Singapore just gained independence. so he help the govt. alot to pull the local population together and won 2public service awards for it. He was also one of the only people that the secret societies then feared. noting that the secret societies then were still going strong. once, the founder of Yeo's (the drink company) son was kidnapped by the secret society. the founder went to the police but they couldnt do anything so they went to my great-grandpa for help who was also respected by the members of the secret society. going along with 2parangs to meet the secret society, he managed to get the founder's child out alive with just a small token sum instead of a huge ransom. such a hero. so proud to be his descendent! haha

had dinner with maternal external family. hvnt seen so many of them in ages. my older cuz, hong hong gor. my big jiu jiu. haha. hes super funny. hahaha. anyway, we were celebrating my grandpa's 79th bday. haha.mhmm.

just came back from general priesthood session and it was great. lol. haha. there was macarthur, there was bishop foo (hope i spelt it right) some 3rd ward ward mission leader. but the best were from pres o'grady and pres lai. yeahhh. pres lai was...great. no other word for it. spoke with such power...it was just great. "do not fear" he kept repeating that. "do not fear". also he asked "if Christ were to appear before  you, what would you say". other things he said, "every new day is a bonus that you have. every breathe that you have. are you using it to serve the Lord?" smth like that. cant remember the exact words for the last quote. but it was great. lol. and like 10min before it started, pres lai asked me to chorus. lol. hope i did ok. haha.

you know. i have to be something else. something more. i am a priest. not a normal kid. my bar must be raised. my standards must be higher. live my life better. change the heart. not the behavior. but its hard ehh. hard. but we try. and we will succeed. we must succeed.
