wah ystdy myra suddenly freaked me out when she that ben and i were asking her the same things. srsly....there has got to be some castatrophic clash of events in outer space or something for that to really occur. or if not it must be we great minds (: myra are u sure u are awake or conscious?! knock knock

last week in church the guy who gave the talk told this reaaal funny story that was originally told by some apostle i think. it goes something like this:

there were 3men in a cafe. the first man said i'm going to texas to get away from the mormons. the second said i'm going to hawaii to get away from the mormons. and the last man said i'm going to go to chicago to get away from the mormons. at this time, this guy in a tie walked up to them and said well then you three can just go to hell because there sure wont be any mormons there!

I went to the market, where they sell birds

you know intitially i read this poem and was like whoa. can there be a more random person on earth? go to the market and talk about love? but reading it a few more times and after discussing it with the teacher, i managed to understand what it meant. sometimes, we go about finding for love, looking for love and doing everything to try and get that love. in the end, sometimes, we try to hard and it slips away, just like a bar of soap. and well other times, maybe the love just doesnt exist...or, unattainable. and that, is usually the case. or so i think. and so i refect. is this the case with me? am i chasing something i cant get? 

i have to analyse this peom for french class and the interesting thing about french love poetry, or at least poems written by this poet Jacques Prevert is that he talks about love and described it beautifully. but what hes really trying to say is that love doesnt exist...but i know it does. i'm sure it does. i hope...it does...

I love him. He's really such a funny prophet and this is one of the cool things that he said. There was another incident of this brother in America who used to serve a mission among the red indians. and so he adopted this little red indian girl after his mission and raised her as his own. when she grew up however and got of age to marry, many shady guys like cowboys and ruffians and wierdos came to his door to look for his daughter. and so this brother was really worried about his daughter's future with all these "bad guys" looking for her. he then went to find President Young and asked President Young what he could do to make these shady guys stop seeing his daughter and that her daughter would be able to marry into a good family and have a good future. guess what President Young said...MARRY HER. yes. he asked the brother to marry his own adopted daughter. President Young said you want those guys to stop seeing her, then marry her. but that was when plural marraiges were still allowed. funny huh President Young, but still, there is no doubt that he is a real prophet of God.
